Thy Kingdom Come is committed to enabling every local church to participate and pray so that we can see communities and lives transformed through prayer. This Inspire and Equip workshop will support church leaders and prayer coordinators as they prepare to take part in Thy Kingdom Come 2019.
Inspire and Equip is a free two hour session hosted by the National Thy Kingdom Come team and will explore simple and creative prayer activities for everyone.
It's there for anyone who would like to get involved from any denomination. All participants receive samples of resources.

Wednesday 13th March 2019 | 19:30 | Hearing God's Word short course |
This course introduces us to the different ways in which we hear God’s word. Over the six weeks we look at how we hear God’s word through the Bible, through our Christian tradition and through the world.
The sessions will be interactive. All participants will be able to contribute. The final session will include a short presentation from each participant.
Venue: The sessions will run at a location to be confirmed depending on numbers, close to Christ Church Bexleyheath.
Course dates and time: Wednesdays during Lent March 13th, 20th, 27th, April 3rd, 10th, 24th.
Sessions will run from 7.30pm -9.30pm
Tutors: Rev Trevor Wyatt, Vicar Christ Church Bexleyheath, Rev Jane Winter Diocesan Facilitator for Formation Learning and Discipleship.
On completion of the course all participants will receive a certificate. They will also be able to continue to speaking God's word if they feel a call to speaking in church or leading small groups.

‘All Creatures Great and Small’ A Special Pet Service to be held on Sunday 17 March at 3pm at St Augustine’s Church, Rock Avenue Gillingham
The service will be a Celebration and Blessing of our pets, as we give thanks for them and those who help us care for them. We’ll also call to mind and give thanks for all of the pets who have loved us over the years.
All adults and children are welcome to attend with their pets. If you wish to, please send a named photograph of your pet for inclusion on screen at the service to info@akpetservice.co.uk .
Please note we’ve been advised that all dogs must be on a lead and of a friendly nature, all other animals must be in containers for everyone’s health and safety, especially theirs.
Larger animals will be welcome but must be suitably controlled. Veterinary staff will be on hand.
