Latest update on Called Together vision

The latest quarterly update on progress around the Called Together vision is now available.

View the February update

Although still in its early stages, much work is underway across the four workstreams of the Vision, including recruitment of new roles to provide support to parishes with their work around Children and Young People Ministry, and care of church buildings.

All funded thanks to the nearly £11 million awarded to the Diocese of Rochester by the National Church in March last year in support of the Called Together vision.

Materials to help share the update

To help churches and others to share this update more easily and visibly with their congregations and communities, additional materials have been developed, including:

  • An A3 parish printable version
  • An A4 2-page parish printable version
  • Suggested text for newsletters, pew sheets, and e-mails

Find the shareable materials

How the materials can be used

There are lots of ways, such as:

  1. Pinned up on noticeboards
  2. Printed and placed on pews and chairs
  3. Folded into an existing newsletter
  4. Shared in PCC and other meetings
  5. Linked to in a church e-mailing
  6. Cut and pasted into a pew sheet or parish magazine
  7. Used as a prayer prompt in home or study group

Essentially, in any way that is helpful to the needs and capacity of your church setting.

Poster and booklet

Alongside the quarterly update, churches have also received in their recent delivery of Together magazine, new, professionally printed materials.

These are an A3 Vision poster and a pack of A5 parish explainer booklets.

Any church who has not received their printed poster or leaflet, should please contact: communications@rochester.anglican.org

Sharing the story of parishes and diocesan supprort teams

Stories sharing the great work already underway in parishes to seek, share, and grow God’s Kingdom also regularly shared.

These can be found in the News section of the Diocesan website, on the Diocesan YouTube channel, Facebook and in Together magazine
