The Diocesan Annual Report and Accounts for 2024 are now available.
Not only do they share the financial picture of the Diocese over the previous year, but they also tell the exciting story of how the work of parishes and diocesan support teams is making an impact in the lives of the people they serve.
It’s a report that Bishop Jonathan says demonstrates the vibrancy of the people and places of the Diocese:
"Despite the many challenges we face, growth is happening and can happen still further.”
The report focuses on the activity that is already taking place to meet the vision objectives of growing missional churches, growing missional leaders, and growing missional disciples.
It also highlights how, as a diocesan family, we are seeking to grow safe and healthy cultures.
Matthew Girt, Diocesan Secretary, says it is clear how much is already being achieved around the shared Called Together vision:
‘The report makes clear that, when we channel our actions towards a common purpose and for the glory of God, we can change things for the better, and with our renewed diocesan vision, I am filled with hope for the future of God’s kingdom in this Diocese.’
