Clergy Houses’ Strategy 2018 – 2020

The Clergy Houses Committee would like to invite you to take part in a consultation on our draft strategy for clergy housing over the next 3 years.

The Committee is proposing the following key objectives in line with the three core themes of ‘Called Together’:

That all clergy houses:

  • Are affordable and practical as a home and as a working environment (resource)
  • Facilitate mission and ministry across the Diocese (grow, enrich)
  • Achieve good standards of environmental sustainability (enrich)
  • Are suitable and appropriate in their use of Diocesan funds (resource)

The Clergy Houses Committee will then consider the comments received, develop a full costed proposal with a timeline and action plan, for consideration initially by Bishop’s Council and then by Diocesan Synod.
