Jesus said: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.'
There are many different kinds of relationships - in our families, with friends, in Churches and in communities, in marriage and romance, at work, and in society at large. But Mothers' Union believes that our most important relationship is with God.
Spending time in relationships, and promoting the need for time in relationships is the Mothers' Union focus for 2008. Our objective in 2008 is to make time for relationship - to do it ourselves in our lives, and to encourage and equip others to do it.
Many resources are available on this page to download to help you and your church build a strong relationship with God. These range from a Eucharist service, prayers, a bible study to poems and practical ideas to help you in your relationship with those around you, in the world and with God.
