Beta
Beta is a 10-week multi-media course which links Christian faith with personal development and pastoral care. The course emphasises the need for healing and wholeness, both personally and in our relationships. The strapline is 'Being Christian, becoming whole, building community.' Topics include: relationships, community, forgiveness, atonement, depression, suffering, loss, self & God. It has been produced by the Psychology and Christianity Project, Centre for Advanced Religious & Theological Studies at the Faculty of Divinity, University of Cambridge. The full set of videos and course books costs £118.80. Participants' booklets cost £3 each. For more information visit

Foundations21
Foundations21 is a free online resource which encourages Christian discipleship. It was produced by the Bible Reading Fellowship (www.brf.org.uk). Many people feel  that they do not have time to attend courses, but we all need  to make space in our lives to meet with God. This resource helps people to join an on-line community for support as they grow in faith. To participate visit www.foundations21.org.uk.

London Institute for Contemporary Christianity
LICC wants to help Christians to be missionary disciples who are living out their faith in the world. It produces practical resources and training and thought-provoking publications. One of their most recent resources is called “The Great Divide.” This seeks to challenge the sacred/secular divide that hinders fruitful Christian living. For more information visit www.licc.org.uk.

There's plenty going on at LICC, including the launch of 'Whole Life, Whole Bible: 50 readings on living in the light of Scripture'. This new resource from LICC, based on the Whole Life, Whole Bible series of Word for the Week emails, is now available to purchase from LICC's web shop. You can also download Derek Tidball's talk from the launch evening on the Whole Life, Whole Bible page.
