About the Board
The Board exists, as an independent company with its own Constitution, to maintain and extend education in the Christian religion in general and the Church of England in particular, amongst all sections of the community in the Diocese of Rochester. To undertake this task for the school age community, the Board works with approximately 88 schools, of which five are secondary and the remainder within the primary age group. To reach the remainder of
pre-school children and older youth, it operates through our Advisers on Children's and Youth. The Bishop is the President of the Board and has approves the appointment of the Chair.
