Spiritual accompaniment encourages you to explore a close relationship with God in the midst of everyday life though meeting with somebody, a spiritual director or guide, to share your faith experience. You may come to spiritual accompaniment for a variety of reasons:

- To identify and trust your own experience of God

- To integrate spirituality into your daily life

- To discern and make choices

- To share your hopes, struggles and losses

- To develop sensitivity for justice and concern for the poor

The Spiritual Director
The privilege and the responsibility of a spiritual director is to journey with you as you deepen your relationship with God. The journey takes place in the context of confidentiality. Most spiritual directors have extensive training and formation and are seasoned in the art of spiritual direction. You and your spiritual director will agree on a convenient location and time for meeting, usually once every 6-8 weeks for about an hour.
