A 'PDF' (portable document file) is a document that has been created in various software programs but saved as a 'PDF'. This enables any PC or Mac user to open these files whatever system they are using. A 'PDF' opens quickly and is easy to update by the user. We have made extensive use of 'PDF' files in this site. If you do not have a 'PDF' reader, it should automatically download when trying to open a file. If not, please use the link to the right to manually download a free copy of Adobe Reader.
Flash is a software tool used to create interesting and interactive animated web graphics. As with 'PDF' files the 'Flash' reader should download automatically if a 'Flash' file is on the website you are looking at. If not, please use the link to the right to download it free of charge.
Shockwave is a similar tool to the 'Flash' software and is not used within this site. It is, however, a handy reader to have!
NOTE!
Please ensure your Anti-Virus and Firewall software is updated prior to downloading
any software from the Internet. The Diocese accepts no responsibility for
the safety of your PC.
