The Criminal Records Bureau is a Government Agency. The Agency has been set up to co-ordinate responses from a variety of data sources, and will be used by all businesses and agencies, including the churches, to check the criminal background of people. As a Diocese we will be using this service to check those who work, in both an employed and voluntary capacity, in a number of areas in the life of the Diocese and Parishes.
