Church In Society
What do we do?
- raise awareness and offer learning about social and community priorities;
- advocate for and empower those who are voiceless, hidden, forgotten and marginalised;
- take action to transform lives to model and reflect God’s kingdom.

Why?
We believe that life is a precious gift of God, and we have all been offered life in all its fullness. Anything that prevents or hinders these gifts is contrary to the love of God.

How?
In 2002, we became a charitable company, serving both the Diocese of Rochester and of Canterbury, continuing the story of social action by the church which includes the Police Court Mission, the Hop Pickers’ Mission and care for teenage mothers and young people at risk.
