What is a Chaplain and where do they work?
Chaplaincy is pioneering ministry par excellence.

We have chaplains in schools, further and higher education, young people’s organizations, residential homes and colleges, hospitals, hospices, prisons and in the workplace.

We have chaplains in such places as supermarkets, factories, the ambulance service, police stations and the services. Some chaplains are full-time and many are part time.

Some are clergy and some are lay people. All of them, in a variety of ways, are embodying the good news of Jesus Christ and trying to hear what God is saying in the places in which they find themselves.
